Room for a Child creates beautiful bedrooms for children in need. We do this with donated furniture and décor items from individuals, as well as corporate donations such as paint and linens. All work is done by volunteers.​

Working closely with elementary school social workers, principals, settlement workers, Children Aid agents, and other professionals, clients are identified and referred to us.

An initial family visit by one of our workers determines the family's needs and a plan is developed that will coordinate any painting, furniture and volunteers,

Finally our team visits the site and performs the work and we record the results in the "Our Projects" page of our web site.
